are employed at institutions of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding USA and Canada).

are an author who published in peer-reviewed Scientific literature.

You may submit your application for the 4th annual ProSPER.Net-Scopus Young Scientist Award 2012.

Follow the steps as listed below:
1. Choose one of the online application link above and fill in the form with your personal information
2. Provide two referee names in the section 'Attachments'
(Referees will be alerted with an automated email to attach their recommendation form for you)
3. Upload your PhD evidence in the section 'Attachments'
Provide evidence that your PhD degree was completed between 1 May 2007 and 1 May 2012.
4. Retrieve your Scopus ID and Password (if you don't have an access to Scopus)

Scopus ID will be used to enter the Scopus system to retrieve your published articles on Scopus.

Copy and paste your published articles on Scopus into excel template, 'List of Publication.xls' (refer to step 5).

5. Download the excel template "List of Publication.xls" and copy and paste your published articles in this form

For articles in Scopus: copy and paste your published article on Scopus to the “List of Publication.xls“

For articles NOT in Scopus: for additional articles authored by you and NOT indexed in your Scopus Author Profile, use ‘Pub not indexed on Scopus’ tab and type in the additional article details.
6. Other supporting documents (optional)
If you have other supporting documents to include, please upload the document using "Other Supporting Documents" option. If you have more than one file, it is recommended that you save all your file into one PDF file or 1 zip file.
Please save it as: "Other Supporting Documents{candidate's name}"
To change your submitted application:
Upon successful submission of the online application form, applicants will receive a Submission ID via email.

The Award Symposium
The symposium will be held in Tokyo, Japan on the the 11 July 2012, where only the top 3 shortlisted candidates in each of the categories will be sponsored to present their work.
Observation:
Researchers working at, or affilated with UNU-IAS and UNU-IIST are not eligible to apply for this award.
