Dear Customer,
In this issue, I'd like to bring you
attention to the Scopus Librarian's Information site (link) that has
been created to help our Scopus customers select from a range of
resources the support and resources needed to promote of Scopus to
their end-users. We have also recently launched the Elsevier Admin
Tool and the latest issue of Library Connect newsletter and pamphlet
are both available.
Meanwhile, we have continued to expand the content of ScienceDirect
with the addition of more leading Major Reference
Works titles and the creation
of the Medicine and Dentistry Backfiles in 17
Speciality Packages.
Looking forward, we will be hosting a
Scopus celebration to thank our customers in Australia and New
Zealand for contributing to the successful launch of Scopus in the
region. We will also be participating in VALA, so
please drop by our booths at #11 and #12.
I hope you continue to find this newsletter useful. As I will be going
on maternity leave from Dec 05 to Mar 06, please direct all your
enquiries during this period to my colleague, Dju-Lyn at
dl.chng@elsevier.com.
Best regards,

Bee Lan, Swee

Medicine and Dentistry Backfiles in 17
Specialty Packages |
|
Due to the nature of specialty within the
Health Sciences areas, there is a need for distinct backfiles packages
for this market. In order to accommodate this, the Medicine and
Dentistry Backfile has been split into 17 distinct specialty subjects,
without content overlap between them.
These specialty packages, which can be sold separately or in combination
with others, are listed
here. Please visit the
ScienceDirect Info Site for more information.
